TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The 15th Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation (JCBC) meeting between Malaysia and Indonesia takes place in Jakarta from Thursday until Friday, August 8.
The Malaysia Foreign Minister Dato Sri Anifah Hj Aman presides over the Malaysian delegation, accompanied by senior officers and officials.

The JCBC meeting will be held jointly by the Malaysian Foreign Minister and his Indonesian counterpart, Retno LP Marsudi.
The meeting will discuss the development of partnerships between Indonesia and Malaysia, as follow-ups over the decisions reached by the Prime Minister of Malaysia and the President of Indonesia during the 11th Annual Meeting in Jakarta last year.
The JCBC will be preceded by a Senior Officers Meeting and a Ministers Meeting.

A number of issues to be discussed are related to the recent development of maritime and land boundaries, fishermen, Indonesian labor, trade and investment, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
The 15th JCBC Meeting this year is also in conjunction with the 60th anniversary of Malaysia-Indonesia diplomatic relations. Both countries are happy to celebrate the long-standing close relationship.
