TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo alias Jokowi is slated to unveil the Kris Museum in Solo.

Jokowi arrived in Solo by the presidential aircraft yesterday at 7:20 local time after taking off from Husen Sastranegara Airport in Bandung. He was welcomed by Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo at Adi Sumarmo Airport.

Wearing a black suit with a red tie, the President disembarked from the plane accompanied by the First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo who wore a blue blouse with batik skirt and scarf.

The unveiling of the Kris Museum will be started at 1 pm, preceded by a procession from Loji Gandrung. The Mayor of Solo FX Hadi Rudyatmo said that the museum’s 171 kris will be showcased to visitors.

Moreover, President Jokowi will also be attending the ‘Mental Revolution Jamboree’ in the city.

Jokowi yesterday made a working visit to Institute of Public Administration (IPDN) in Jatinangor, West Java, to attend the inauguration of 2,014 government officials.
