TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Property developer PT PP Properti achieved Rp 1.97 trillion in sales during January - July 2017. The value drastically increased by 87% from last year's stock period of Rp 1.05 trillion.
President Director of PT PP Properti, Taufik Hidayat , said, soaring marketing sales subsidiary of the state-owned company PT Pembangunan Perumahan is proof that the products it offers are well received by the public. "We have an exciting and unique portfolio so that consumer interest in the products we offer is very high," Taufik said in a written broadcast Wednesday, August 9, 2017.
According to Taufik, the soaring results of marketing sales also had a positive impact on PT PP Properti's revenue during January-July 2017. The company's revenue rose 28% to Rp 1.32 trillion from last year’s revenue of Rp 1.04 trillion .The company's net profit also increased 25% from Rp 160 billion to Rp 200 billion.
This year, Taufik explained, the company set a number of performance targets, one of which drove the rise of marketing sales by 24% to Rp 3.1 trillion from Rp 2.5 trillion last year. The company also targeted sales for a rise of 19% to Rp 2.5 trillion, and the net profit rose 20% to Rp 438 billion.
Taufik said that the increase will be sustained by a number of company expansion plans to develop new projects and aggressively acquire land. PT PP Properti targets to have 280 hectares of land reserves this year, which is 3 times larger compared to 2016’s land of 70 hectares.
With the expansion plan, Taufik expects its asset growth to reach 48% to Rp 13.1 trillion this year. Last year, PT PP Properti’s asset growth reached Rp 8.8 trillion. For equities, it is expected to jump 100% to Rp 5.8 trillion from Rp 2.9 trillion.
