TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The National Police Headquarters spokesman Sr. Comr. Martinus Sitompul said that Bali Police will investigate an attack against a member of the Mobile Brigade (Brimob) Brigadier I Bagus Suda Suwarna.
“Bali Police will form a joint team comprising Propam [Profession and Security Division], Brimob, Reskrim [Criminal Investigation Unit] and Intel to launch an investigation,” Martinus said today in Jakarta.

Martinus said that yesterday at 11:20 Central Indonesia Time, officer I Bagus Suda Suwarna lost an AK 101 rifle with a magazine containing 3 blank bullets and 27 rubber bullets. The man was found unconscious by a security guard at Ayana Hotel, he said.
The police spokesman said that Suda Suwaryana was allegedly attacked when taking a rest at Rimba Resort, which is 500 meters away from Ayana Hotel. “There’s a bruise on the left side of his face, red eyes and he vomited blood,” he said.
As of press time, the police have not identified the assailant. Earlier in June, two Brimob members were also attacked in North Sumatra Police Headquarters.
