TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A 30 years old female named Siti Maryam who went missing on Mount Rinjani, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, has been found alive today, August 2.
“The victim was found in Abangan area, around 1.5 kilometers south of hiking trails near Sembalun outpost,” Mount Rinjani National Park (BTNGR) administrative unit head Mustafa Imran Lubis said.
The hiker looked weak and pale when being found since she had not eaten or drunk after being left behind by her group.

The victim has now received first aid and medical treatment.
“A medical examination conducted by a doctor at Sembalun health center shows that the victim is healthy, suffering only minor injuries and trauma after the incident,” he said.
Meanwhile, the National Park security unit head Taufik said that the victim climbed Mount Rinjani with 27 others through Sembalun checkpoint on Friday and was left behind on Sunday at 2 am local time.
“We were told that the victim wanted to take a dump. She left her gear to her friends. But, inexplicably, the victim was left behind and went missing,” he said.
