TEMPO.CO, Surabaya - Kota Batu Police, East Java, arrested nine people in a private hot spring in Kota Batu on Saturday evening (29/7). Some of them were apprehended while they were soaking in naked.

"Based on interrogation and evidence found at the scene, police concluded that out of eleven people arrested, nine were considered committing a violation," East Java Police spokesperson Comr. Sr. Frans Barung Mangera stated on Sunday (30/7).

The nine people arrested are B (37), R (26), IA (38), PS (27), RAS (16), YHA (18), RI (42), WH (37), and S (51). They are from Malang, Kota Batu, and Surabaya. In addition, the police also arrested two workers of the spring AP (49) and ATR (23). The police also confiscated their identity cards and their mobile phones.

Barung explained that they came to Songgoriti private hot spring at night. They later soaked in together naked in a pool provided by the workers. Barung added that the police held the raid after a tip-off from local residents reporting a group of suspicious people frequenting the place.
