Persib Bandung squad and officials have heard about Rico’s death ahead of their away match against Perseru in Liga 1. Persib skipper Atep said he was sorry about the news.
“I expect no repetition of similar incidents. This should be the last one. I hope the perpetrators would at least apologize to his family,” Atep said.
The left winger of Persib said that football should unite people together instead of dividing them, let alone causing loss of life.
