TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Tempo Inti Media president director Toriq Hadad announced that his company will focus on developing its digital products starting from 2017. The digital products include Tempo.co and other new portals to be launched this year.
According to Toriq Hadad, the strategy is to anticipate the declining market of the print media industry and the growth of digital media.

“We will focus on the developing our digital format,” Toriq said on Tuesday, July 25.
Tempo will launch four new portals in 2017, although the details are still kept a secret because it is still being discussed with several partners. The portals will target 24 million visitors of Tempo.co on a monthly basis.
Toriq revealed that over the last six months, Tempo has successfully increased the number of digital Koran Tempo subscribers to 80,000.
Toriq added that Tempo will continue to develop its content, considering that Tempo is already a leading and credible media company.
“We do not want to lose our credibility and this is why parts of our rights issue will be allocated to develop our content,” said Toriq.
