TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Persib Bandung will face Liga 1 leaders PSM Makassar tomorrow at Gelora Bandung Luatan Api Stadium. Midfielder Kim Jeffrey Kurniawan said that the team is not facing any problem despite recent disappointing results.

Kim said that his team is not afraid of PSM Makassar. According to him, Persib Bandung and PSM Makassar are equally strong.

“To play against any team will be the same. It’s only that they [PSM] are at the top. We don’t have to be afraid and nervous; we will work hard and be optimistic of winning it,” said the player who wears no. 23 jersey.

Persib only won one of their last six matches, losing three of them. Meanwhile, PSM Makassar won three matches and lost two of their last six games.

Tomorrow’s match will be held in front of Persib’s fans, known as Bobotoh. The team is facing fitness problem after Eid holidays.

Kim said that he and his teammates were not in their best physical condition. Nevertheless, training sessions conducted in the past few days have helped them to recover their fitness.

Persib Bandung is currently 13th in the league table. They only got 16 points from 11 matches played.
