Energy Minister Ensures Fuel Supply During Homecoming Season

TEMPO.CO, Bandarlampung - Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Minister Ignasius Jonan guarantees that fuel (BBM) supply for the Eid homecoming is sufficient and there is no disruption.
"This year is generally better than last year. BBM shortage no longer occurs," the Minister said in Bandarlampung on Saturday (1/7).

He guarantees that fuel supply on a national scale during 2017 Eid homecoming and exodus is steady and there is no area that suffers from shortage. He explained that based on data from PT Pertamina, both fuel stocks and distribution are well-maintained.In addition, BBM Task Force (Satgas) informed that the current stocks will sufficiently meet the needs for the next 20 days.
Jonan also said that the total use of gas product increases 2 percent. The use of 3-kg liquefied petroleum gas (elpiji) rises 5 percent, 12-kg liquefied petroleum gas (elpiji) drops 7 percent, bright gas drops 2 percent, 50-kg liquefied petroleum gas (elpiji) falls 7 percent and bulk liquefied petroleum gas falls to minus 17 percent.

Jonan highly appreciates PT Pertamina that has made extra effort to maintain the supply and distribution of fuel and gas during 2017 Eid homecoming and exodus.
