TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - State-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura II operate special post for Eid homecoming travelers starting from Thursday, June 15 which is 10 days before Eid to 15 days after Eid, July 11.
The posts were operated simultaneously in all airports managed by PT. AP II, including Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten.
“The posts are set up to make homecoming travelers constantly feel safe and comfortable when they spend their time at the airports,” PT Angkasa Pura II president director Muhammad Awaluddin said on Saturday, June 17. Such services run 24 hours to ensure the ease of airport operations.

In order to monitor the flow of homecoming and exodus, each terminal will also be provided with both airline and AP II customer service. Customer service offers direct assistance to the travelers.
PT. AP II also put extra CCTVs to monitor each part of the airport. The number of cameras increases from 1,954 units to 2,487 units.
The number of security personnel during Eid period reaches 4,974 personnel consisting of National Military and Police, aviation security and security in public areas. Last year the number of the personnel was 4,490.
