Bank Indonesia, IDX Closed for Eid Holidays Starting June 23

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesia Stock Exchange will be closed for Eid al-Fitr holidays starting on Friday, June 23.
IDX director Tito Sulistio said the stock exchange will be closed until June 30. "We will follow the president’s instruction," he said yesterday, June 15, in Jakarta.
The government has announced that Eid al-Fitr holidays this year will start on June 23. The holidays will last until 30 Juni.

Bank Indonesia (BI) has also decided to go on holiday starting June 23. “Since the presidential decree on national holidays has been signed, we will make adjustments,” the central bank spokesman Tirta Segara said.
Bank Indonesia earlier had decided it will fully operate on June 23. The central bank yesterday announced that all of its offices will be closed for public on June 26 to 29 Juni.
