TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has signed a decree on Eid al-Fitr holidays.
The presidential decree was aimed at maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of working days and serve as a guideline for government agencies in 2017 joint holidays.

The Cabinet Secretariat in its official website said that President Jokowi signed the decree yesterday, June 15.
According to the presidential decree, joint holidays for 2017 will fall on June 23,27,28,29 and 30 (Friday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) for Eid al-Fitr holidays and 26 December (Tuesday) for Christmas joint holiday.
