The message is likely to be recorded in May. The voice in the audio message is suspected to belong to ISIS spokesman Abi al-Hassan al-Muhajer.
Before and during Ramadan this year, there have been a series of terrorist attacks suspected to have been carried by ISIS-linked terrorist networks including the bombing in Manchester and the current situation in Marawi, which prompted the Philippines to enact martial law.
ISIS also claims to be behind the recent attack in Tehran which took at least 12 lives.
