TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Defense Minister Ryamizard Ryacudu is not interested in making the National Defense (Bela Negara) training program to be available for members of anti-Pancasila mass-organizations.
Ryamizard requested that citizens who oppose the Pancasila (five state principles) should leave the country instead.

“They shouldn’t participate in the National Defense training, this is a Pancasila state. Live in another country if you refuse to adopt Pancasila,” Ryamizard said on Monday, June 12.
The Indonesian Government is currently actively handling anti-Pancasila organizations. One of the examples is the disbandment of Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) which adopted an Islamic Caliphate.

Ryamizard argues that organizations that conduct their activities in Indonesia should accept the Pancasila as a guideline. “It’s simple, join us if you believe in Pancasila and leave the country if you don’t,” he said.
The Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs, WIranto, had even proposed a Rp6 billion budget to fund activities in handling anti-Pancasila organizations during a meeting with the House of Representatives.
