TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) rebounded during the Friday’s session. The IHSG was closed rising by 0.23 percent or 13.38 points to 5,716.81 after being opened in the green zone with a 0.17-percent rise or 9.92 points at 5,713.35.
During today’s session, the JCI movement was between 5,703.89 and 5,778.60. The index managed to rebound after declining over the last three days. On Wednesday’s closing session, the IHSG was down by 0.47 percent or 27.18 points to 5,703.43.
As many as 147 stocks gained positive movements, while 178 others decline and 22 stocks stagnated. Eight out of nine JCI sectoral indexes gained positive results. The infrastructure sector achieved the highest increase of 0.63 percent.
The consumer sector was the only sectoral index closed in the red zone with a 0.30-percent decline. The JCI increased when other stock exchanges in Southeast Asia declined.
