TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Corruption Court spokesman Yohanes Prihana said 7 witnesses will testify in the electronic identity cards or e-KTP graft trial today.
“[The witnesses are] Amilia Kusmawardani, Willy Nusantara Najoan, Junaidi, Endah Lestari, Nadjamudin Abror, Ferry Haryanto, Melyanawati,” Yohanes told Tempo today.
Amilia is the Vice President of PT Bimorf, Willy is an employee of PT Quadra Solutions, Juniadi was the treasurer who assisted the procurement of e-KTP project, and Endah was a member of the project auction committee. Meanwhile, Nadjamudin, Ferry and Melyana are working for private companies.
Today will see the 16th session of the e-KTP trial. At least 11 witnesses in the previous sessions had admitted to taking bribes in the project.
Data from the Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) show that the 11 witnesses include former home affairs ministry secretary-general Diah Anggraini who took US$500,000 bribe, former house member Djafar Hafsah who took Rp1 billion, Quadra Solution CEO Anang Sugiana who took US$200,000 and Rp1.3 billion, among others.
In a trial session held early May, state-owned electronics company LEN Industri director Agus Iswanto returned Rp1 billion bribe. Lawyer Hotma Sitompul gave back US$400,000 and former Finance and Development Supervisory Agency (BPK) auditor Mahmud Toha returned Rp3 million. The Rp5.9 trillion project had caused Rp2.3 trillion in state losses.
DANANG FIRMANTO
