TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has sent another summons to former Home Affairs Ministry secretary-general Diah Anggraini to attend a questioning related to a graft case surrounding the electronic identity cards (e-KTP) procurement project. Diah will be questioned as a witness for Andi Agustinus or Andi Narogong.
In addition to Diah, the KPK today also summoned three individuals from the private sector to be questioned as witnesses in the same case. The three individuals are PT Karsa Wira Utama president director Winata Cahyadi, and two Fatmawati team members Eko Purwoko and Gugun.
“The three are also questioned as witnesses for AA [Andi Narogong],” KPK spokesperson Febri Diansyah said Friday, May 12.
Diah Anggraini has been summoned for questionings many times before. KPK chief Agus Rahardjo revealed that she is one of the witnesses with the most important role. In the indictment against two suspects Irman and Sugiharto, Diah was mentioned to have enriched herself and others with the e-KTP project funds.
Meanwhile, Winata Cahyadi was involved in the e-KTP pilot project with Andi Narogong but did not participate in the project tender. During a trial, Winata testified that lobbies to the House of Representative were conducted in order to grease the approval.
In the Rp5.9 trillion worth of graft case, Andi Narogong allegedly formed the Fatmawati Team to manipulate the project tender. The team that consisted of vendors frequently held meetings to discuss the establishment of consortiums that will follow the project tender.
The tender was finally won by the State Printing Company Consortium (PNRI) formed by Andi Narogong.
The graft case is estimated to have caused Rp2.3 trillion in state losses.
