TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian government has condemned a suicide bomb attack in Kabul, Afghanistan, on Wednesday, May 3, the Foreign Ministry stated in a press release.
“Indonesia would like to offer our deep condolences to the victims and their families,” the press statement says.
The suicide bomb attack killed eight civilians and injured at least 25 others.
As of press time, there were no Indonesians among the victims in the incident, according to the Indonesian Embassy in Kabul.
Local authorities said that the target of the suicide bomb was a NATO convoy in Kabul. NATO spokesman Navy Captain said that three US military personnel were injured following the incident.
