TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Ferrari Jakarta commemorated the 70th anniversary of the legendary Italian supercar company by holding an event titled 'Ferrari Festival of Speed' at Bumi Serpong Damai, South Tangerang on Sunday, April 23, 2017.
"This is our biggest event held in Indonesia," according to CEO of Ferrari Indonesia Arie Christopher on Sunday, April 23, 2017. The event gathered hundreds of Ferrari owners from the Ferrari Owner Club Indonesia (FOCI) together with their prized Ferraris who took part in a car parade taking place in a 3.2 kilometers special circuit.
Participants of the event, Arie said, comes from a number of cities throughout Indonesia such as Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Malang, up to Bali. "This event is an important milestone for us together with our Indonesian fans and clients," Arie stated.
This event was opened for the general public to introduce the history and development of Ferrari as a supercar company.
The event also presented a number of rare and special version Ferraris such as the latest most technological Ferrari LaFerrari, race focused 360 Challenge Stardale, the Enzo, 575 Superamerica, and the 599 GTO. The event also featured famous Ferrari classic icons such as the 350 TR, Dino 246 GTS, 365 GTC4, 365 Queen Mary 2+2, Testarossa, among others.
