TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A ninth grader of a junior high school in Cilacap, Central Java was found lifeless because he was hit by Purwojaya 59 train with the route Gambir-Cilacap.
"The victim is Rifki Ade Saputra or known asTongkol (16), a resident of Kaswari street, Tegalrejasubdistrict, South Cilacap district," Cilacap Police chief Adj. Cmr. Sr. Totok Nuryanto said on Sunday (23/4).
He explained that the incident took place on level crossing without a gate between Beo Timur street, South Cilacap Selatan and Merbabu street, Central Cilacap.
He added that two witnesses Joko dan Muslih who was heading for the mosque at 05.00 in the morning saw the victim sitting in the middle of the rail track with head bowed down. The witnesses told the victim to not sit in the track, but he did not listen to them.
Upon their return from the mosque, they found him dead with a tear on his head and both legs broken. The police found traces of bootleg liquor “ciu” on the scene. The body of the victim was evacuated to Cilacap General Hospital to get an autopsy before handed over to his family.
