TEMPO.CO, JakartaJakarta Provincial Government is preparing a regulation about receipt of funds from the rising compensation on the Building's Floor Coefficient (KLB).

Jakarta City Secretary, Saefullah acknowledged his party is drafting regulation in accordance with the applicable law.

"This is our answer for Supreme Audit Agency (BPK). Its regulation starts from law, government regulation, presidential decree, bylaw and gubernatorial regulation. Just take what is the most relevant," he expressed, at City Hall, Thursday (4/20).

The legal protection, which will be issued could be gubernatorial regulation or instruction. The procedure operational standard will be made, which is regarding the receipt of compensation from the increase in KLB.

"We're looking for the best form to meet the principles of transparency and fairness. It is a must, because the city has been connected to the open data," he stated.

He went on the say that the receipt of KLB compensation is principally acceleration. Thus it does not include on City Budget (APBD). Yet, to avoid cheating, it is given in the form of goods, recorded in the asset after it is calculated by appraisal.

Through KLB compensation, he assured the infrastructure development is still requested accountably.

"Our point is acceleration, yet we are also asked to be accountable. So it's about how fast but still accountable," he closed.
