Setya Novanto at the e-KTP trial

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Director of PT Java Trade Utama, Johanes Richard Tanjaya, said that there was a seven percent fee request at the electronic ID card or e-KTP project for the House of Representatives Speaker Setya Novanto. The statement was revealed by Richard when he testified in the e-KTP graft case trial on Thursday, April 20, 2017.

In the beginning, it was Jimmy Iskandar Tedjasusila alias Bobby, a former employee of PT Java Trade Utama, who said that he once discussed the e-KTP matters with the Director of PT Murakabi Sejahtera, Irvan Hendra Pambudi Cahyo. Irvan is Setya Novanto's nephew.

“I casually conversed with Irvan in his office. He once talked about the astounding cost of the e-KTP project,” Jimmy said on Thursday, April 20, 2017.

He then asked Irvan regarding the amount of cost spent for the project. “How much? He said that seven percent was for Senayan. But it was just a casual conversation,” said Bobby.

The Prosecutors asked Johanes if he received information related to the 7 percent fee distribution to Setya Novanto group from Jimmy. “I have. But it’s not SN (Setya Novanto) group. Just SN,” Johanes said.

“Who is SN?,” prosecutor Taufik Ibnugroho asked Johanes. “Well, it must be Setya Novanto” Johanes said.
