TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo on Saturday inaugurated Tanjung Priok toll road in North Jakarta.

The toll road is expected to facilitate the flows of goods to and from the seaport.

In his remarks at the inauguration ceremony, Jokowi said that after he stepped down to solve the issue of land acquisition, which delayed the construction of the toll road for two years, the issue was finally resolved.

Jokowi added that construction of the toll road was also hindered by the mistake in the structure of the road; thus the construction has to be done all over again.

The Tanjung Priok toll road, which spans 11.4 km, is part of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR).
