TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) employees’ association has urged President Joko Widodo alias Jokowi to form an independent fact-finding team to investigate into an acid attack against KPK investigator Novel Baswedan.
“We consistently urge the president to crack down on acts of terror against the KPK by forming an independent fact-finding team,” the KPK employees’ association first chairman Hery Nurudin said in a rally in front of the KPK building yesterday.

Hundreds of members of KPK employees’ association joined yesterday’s rally and performed prayers for Novel Baswedan, who is currently treated at a Singapore hospital.
“We hope that there will be no other incident. But we are not afraid of terror and are ready to eradicate corruption,” Hary said.

At the rally, the KPK employees extended their gratitude to President Jokowi and Vice President Jusuf Kalla, state agencies and other parties for their support to KPK.
