Transjakarta Launches Maxibus with 'It's Better Now' Slogan

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - City-owned bus operator PT Transjakarta has launched the operation of new buses called Maxibus at the National Museum in Central Jakarta on Sunday (9/4).
PT Transjakarta CEO Budi Kaliwono said that the Maxibus has a lot of advantages that are needed to improve services.
"These buses are more convenient, longer and have larger capacity. It can carry up to one hundred passengers," Budi said.
Budi explained that based on safety regulations, the buses have met all the requirements and it is sophisticated.
"The back wheels move according to the front wheels. It is equipped with air suspension and that makes it more convenient. It is also equipped with sophisticated brakes controlled by system," he added.
This bus, Budi said, is much more expensive that regular buses, but it is worth every penny to show Transjakarta’s commitment to improve the services. In addition to launching maxibus, Transjakarta also released a new tagline #ItIsBetterNow as a continuation of the previous tagline #DaretoChange.
