TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Singaraja Class II Immigration Office in Buleleng Regency, Bali has deported seven undocumented Chinese nationals who had worked at the Celukan Bawang steam-fired power plant (PLTU).
"Earlier, we had questioned eight foreign workers, only one had proper documentations," Singaraja Immigration Office head Victor Manurung said in Buleleng on Tuesday, April 4, 2017.
Victor added that that the Chinese workers only had visitors visas and only one of them had obtained temporary residence permit (KITAS) and foreign workers employment permit (IMTA).
Victor said that his office will crack down on undocumented foreigners in the districts of Buleleng, Jembrana, and Karangasem.
Meanwhile, the Singaraja Immigration Office Class II had earlier deported two undocumented Chinese working in a shrimp farm in Jembrana Regency.
