AP II to Develop Logistics Center Zone at Soekarno-Hatta Airport

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura II through its subsidiary PT Angkasa Pura Kargo is preparing a logistics center zone at Soekarno-Hatta international airport.
PT Angkasa Pura II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said the development of the zone is aimed at facilitating cargo-shipping businesses.
"And it is also aimed at improving Indonesia’s competitiveness at the global air cargo industries,” he said on Saturday (1/4).
Awaluddin added there are supporting factors in the development of this zone, including the fact the airport is located Tanjung Priok seaport.
He went on to say that the logistic center is also aimed at supporting he government’s program to cut down logistics costs for business players.
