TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Central Jakarta Environment Sub-dept. Head, Marsigit is targeting to add 300 waste banks this year.
"Waste bank will be added, ideally in each RW," he stated, Saturday (3/18).
He added, currently, there have been 400 waste banks in Central Jakarta. They are capable of producing 1,600 cubic meters of waste that have economic value every day.
According to him, if residents want to a selection early, waste that disposed to the Bantargebang Landfill will be on the wane.
"We'll intensify the dissemination in residential areas, schools and government offices that have waste bank," he closed.
