18 Flights Delayed as Saudi Arabia King Salman Leaves Bali

TEMPO.CO, Kuta - Eighteen flights, both domestic flights and international flights, in Ngurah Rai international airport were delayed as the airport is temporarily closed to facilitate the departure of Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Bin Abdulaziz al-Saud this afternoon.
"13 of those flights are domestic flights, while the remaining 5 flights are international flights," Ngurah Rai spokesman Arie Ahsanurrohim said on Sunday (12/02).
Transportation Ministry, Arie added, has issued Notice to Airman on the estimation of flight delays between 10.45 to 11.30 Indonesia Central Time.
King Salman and some of his entourage use Saudi Arabian airplane number SVA-01 Boeing 747 series400, scheduled to take off at around 11.00 Indonesia Central Time to Haneda airport, Japan.
King Salman is set to visit Japan after his nine-day excursion in Bali.
The belongings of King Salman and his entourage have been taken by using cargo plane on Saturday (11/3). The cargo sent to Japan weighs 16.6 tons.
