TEMPO.CO, New York - Singer and songwriter Tommy page was found dead of an apparent suicide. Page, 46, is survived by his partner Charlie and their three children. Page reportedly was suffering from depression.
The New Jersey-born pop star was famous for his song “I’ll Be Your Everything” that went to no. 1 in 1990. The song was written by Tommy Page, Jordan Knight, and Danny Wood from the New Kids on The Block (NKOTB). Donnie Wahlberg from the NKOTB was also involved in the production.
Page later pursued a career as music executive after recording nine studio albums and countless tours during his music career. When working for Warner Bros, Page helped orbiting other musicians, such as Michael Buble, Analis Morissette, Josh Groban, David Foster and Green Day.
In 2011, Page joined with Billboard Magazine as an associate publisher and was promoted to publisher in the following year.
“We are all mourning the loss of our friend and colleague, Tommy Page,” Billboard Entertainment Group president John Amato said. “He was magnetic soul and a true entertainer.”
