Sri Rabitah, an Indonesian migrant worker who claimed to be a victim of organ theft in Doha, Qatar. Private doc.

TEMPO.CO, Mataram - Sri Rabitah, a 25-year-old female migrant worker (TKI) from North Lombok, suspected that one of her kidneys was surgically removed without her consent while working in Doha, Qatar, three years ago. Sri was only made aware of the condition after she had an X-ray at a hospital in Lombok.

"As soon as I left Qatar, I started to feel pain on the right side of my waist," Sri said on Monday, February 27, 2017.

Other than getting an X-ray, Sri Rabitah also conducted a check-up at West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) General Hospital about a week ago.

Sri said that while in Doha, she was employed as a personal assitant by a Palestinian woman named Madam Gada on July 2014. Sri added that one day later, she was moved to Madam Gada's parents' house at a different location. "[Madam Gada's]parents were sick, they were limping," Sri said.

Suddenly, Sri was taken to a hospital by a relative of Madam Gada even though she was not suffering from any illness. Upon arrival at the hospital, Sri was forcefully fitted with medical equipment. Sri said that she was then transferred to an operating room before she suddenly fall unconscious. "Once I woke up, my [body] was full of tubes and I was urinating blood through a tube," Sri said

From the hospital, Sri said that she was taken to Al Jazera's Indonesian migrant workers office, where she met two Indonesians managing Indonesian workers. Sri was then employed to three different places before finally sent home.
