Ministry to Verify Reports of Indonesian Involvement in Kim Jong-nam Murder

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Malaysian police are reported to have detained an Indonesian woman over suspected involvement in the murder Kim Jong-nam, the half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un."

According to Iqbal, it will take some time to verify the reports as there are many Indonesians living in Malaysia.
The Malaysian inspector general of police Khalid Abu Bakar said two women are being questioned in connection with Kim's murder. One of them has been identified as an Indonesian. The suspicion is based on security camera footage.
"She was identified as 25-year-old Siti Aisyah, from Serang, Indonesia, based on her passport," Khalid said as Channel News Asia quoted from Bernama, Thursday, February 16.
It is said that Aisyah was holding Vietnam travel papers. The Malaysian authorities are now looking for other suspects in connection with the assassination.
Kim's body is now being held at Kuala Lumpur Hospital for autopsy. No results have been released yet.
