TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Lombok and Bali were hit by an earthquake measuring 5.2 in Richter scale.
The quake happened at 11:25 Central Indonesian Time.
The center of the quake was located at the depth of 10 kilometers on 9.73 South Latitude and 115.62 East Longitude. It was located in Indian Ocean between Bali and Lombok.
Head of Selaparang Geophysics Station Agus Riyanto said the intensity of the quake 5 MMI (Modified Mercally Intensity).
The figure was recoded on equipment installed at Kediri Climatology Station in West Lombok.
"Almost everyone felt the quake. Even those who were asleep were woken up,” Agus said on Sunday.
He added that an earthquake with the intensity of 5 MMI can cause household appliances such as a picture frame or a small object move.
