Previously, the Government issued a new policy on the implementation of mining business activities as the fourth revision of Government Regulation No. 23/2010.
One of the revisions contained in the new regulation is the change in the time period to submit an application to renew their mining license (IUP) and the special mining license (IUPK), which should be submitted as early as five years before the existing license ends.
Another point is the divestment change up to 51 percent that would be done gradually. The realization of the divestment was given a 10-year schedule since the start of the production as has been instructed directly by President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo.
