Tempo Group Clinches 4 Awards at Indonesia PrintMedia Awards 2017

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Tempo group has won four awards from the 8th Indonesia Print Media Awards (IPMA) 2017 from the Newspaper Publishers Union (SPS).
The award ceremony was held on Friday (3/2) at Milenium Hotel, Sirih, Jakarta.
Koran Tempo won the Gold Winner award for the category of Best of National Newspaper IPMA 2017, while Tempo magazine won two Gold Winner awards for the category of The Best of News, Politics, and Business Local Magazine IPMA 2017. Travelounge magazine owned by Tempo also won one Gold Winner award for the category of The Best of Special Interest Local Magazine IPMA 2017.
Chief Editor of Tempo Weekly Arif Zulkifli said that awards would stimulate all editorial crew at Tempo to work even better.
Arif added Tempo would continue improving the contents and support the fight against hoax. One of the steps taken to fight against hoax, Arif said, is by publishing in-depth reports such as focusing on investigative reports.
"We will also intensify cooperation with international media such as BBC and Malaysia Kini so we can strengthen inter-media cooperation,” he said.
