TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Managing Director of Grab Indonesia Ridzki Kramadibrata, stated that the company has named the former Indonesian National Police Chief Badrodin Haiti as President Commissioner of Grab Indonesia.
"Badrodin will supervise and maintain the management and the sustainability of the company by supervising the performance of the board of directors," Ridzki said on Monday, January 30, 2017.
Badrodin confirmed that he was offered the position by Lippo, one of the companies incorporated in the Ventura Capitals (VC), one of the several groups of companies investing in Grab. "Lippo once offered [the position] to me, I asked what their mission was? I then said yes, if it's for the nation too," Badrodin said.
Badrodin also added a few comments related to his appointment as a Commissioner, saying that he "will make sure that Grab will continue to become a role model of companies that has [the spirit] of accountability and citizenship."
Badrodin also stated that he will also make use of his experiences working in a number of regions in Indonesia to support the company's expansion.
