TEMPO.CO, Kupang - Rider Valentino Rossi spends his MotoGP summer break in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara.
Rossi arrived at the Komodo Airport on Monday, January 23, before getting around the city of Labuan Bajo. The next day, Vale visited four exotic tourist attractions. The Yamaha rider took selfies at the top of Padar Island for around 30 minutes.
Thereafter, Rossi proceeded on his journey to the Komodo Island with a speedboat. An officer of Komodo National Park (TNK) named Saleh accompanied Vale.
Spending an hour on the Komodo Island, the nine-time world champion headed to the Pink Beach which has majestic underwater scenery. Vale swam with his friends for two hours before going to Manta Point on the Komodo Island to enjoy the sunset.
At night, The Doctor had dinner with his friends at an Italian restaurant called La Cucina in Labuan Bajo. The restaurant belongs to Vale’s childhood friend. “He also took care of Rossi during his time in Labuan Bajo,” said local resident Gerarismos Satria.
During his holiday, the 37-year-old Italian banned paparazzi and journalists from covering his activities. “Rossi has asked for no coverage. It’s a private holiday, he doesn’t want to be disturbed during the holiday,” said Adam, the speedboat owner.
