TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) in London supports the promotion of Indonesian tourist attractions on 400 London cabs. The Black Cabs display various tourist sites in Indonesia.
"That’s the program of Tourism Ministry in London and KBRI definitely supports [the idea],” said Indonesian Ambassador in London Rizal Sukma Sunday, October 23, 2016.
He said the promotion is aimed at increasing the visit of British tourist to Indonesia. In the past few years, he said, England was the European country that visited Indonesia the most.
The tourist site images will be displayed on the London cabs on October 17 until November 13, 2016. The Black Cab is expected to travel around Central London with 70,720,960 passengers per month.
The program is also planned to be applied to five units of Double Decker in the city on October 31.
“There are a lot of other European tourists visiting London who will also be the target of the promotion,” said Rizal.
