TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Agus Hariyadi, head of corporate secretary and legal at airport operator Angkasa Pura II (AP II), said that the operation capacity of Soekarno-Hatta Airport’s Terminal 3 had progressed 40 percent.
"The condition is because some renovation works are still underway and the entire terminals are being integrated," Agus said in a press release on Thursday, August 11, 2016.
Agus added that AP II was still improving various aspects at the airport's terminals to accommodate passengers’ feedbacks related to the terminal integration and directions.
Agus explained that AP II had addressed electrical issues occurred since the new terminal was officially opened on August 9, 2016. Agus said that his company had restricted porter services to ensure passengers' security and convenience.
In terms of security and safety, Terminal 3 has met the criteria set by the civil aviation authority in Indonesia. In addition, the terminal has undergone service operation and system simulations under the Transportation Ministry's supervision.
Agus added that the terminal operation was aimed at maintaining smooth flight patterns and avoiding schedule congestions.
