TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - As many as 4,442 homecomers have arrived at Kalideres bus terminal starting on Friday up to Sunday.
Most of them came from Sumatra and Central Java.
The inter-city buses arrived simultaneously at the Kalideres terminal. In fact, the buses carried small number of passengers. It is because most of the passengers have disembarked before the buses entering the terminal and continuing their trip.
“There are 331 armadas carried the passengers,” said Revi Zulkarnaen, Kalideres terminal head, Sunday.
“Bus percentage from Sumatra is 65 percent, Central Java 30 percent and five percent from West Java and Banten,” he added.
He predicts that the Eid homecoming return flow will still happen until today since many buses are still trapped in traffic jam.
