TEMPO.CO, Magelang-PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan, and Ratu Boko targets 358,500 people to visit Candi Borobudur throughout 2016.
Operational Director of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan, and Ratu Boko (TWCB), Retno Hardiasiwi, said on Friday that Eid holiday will be begin from July 3-17, 2016.
Traditional arts and children games like giant puzzles will be performed, said Retno.
“Tourist visit peak in Borobodur is expected to occur on July 8-9. We will be providing our best services to visitors,” she said.
Retno said the art performances will be played include punokawan attraction, fairytale stage, cokean, siteran, wayang, keroncong, Sendratari Kidung Karmawibangga, Barongsai, and other traditional arts.
TWCB will also involve residents of Borobudur to be creative in displaying their masterpiece so travelers can get new insights.
Retno expects tourists will later acknowledge that Borobudur is not only about temple, but it also has other potential extraordinary tourism sites.
The company will also be collaborating with Magelang Resort Police throughout Eid holiday. As many as 19 CCTVs installed in Candi Borobudur will be linked to Magelang Resort Police.
