Jokowi Wants No Intervention on Cabinet Reshuffle

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-President Joko Widodo has commented on cabinet reshuffle issue which is rumoured to be carried out next week. Jokowi asserted that he is the only one who knows about the time and place of the cabinet reshuffle announcement.

“Please don’t push me on the [reshuffle] issue,” Jokowi said after watching the first half of Bhayangkara Cup 2016 final match between Arema Chronus and Persib Bandung at the Gelora Bung Karno stadium, Sunday, April 3, 2016.

Jokowi said what he often said that he wanted ministers to focus on job as best they could. However, he did not dismiss the possibility of a cabinet reshuffle in the near future.

“No need to intervene, to dictate [what to do]. Just wait for it [the reshuffle],” Jokowi said before leaving Gelora Bung Karno stadium.
