TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Prisoners of corruption are allowed family visits for Christmas. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has granted the convicts an opportunity to spend Christmas day with their family members.
The custody area at the KPK building is crowded as the prisoners' family members had begun arriving since 9 am this morning. Dozens of them brought a variety of items to give to the prisoners, mostly food, that the KPK checked for security measures.
Among the prisoners that were visited by their families today are OC Kaligis, Rio Capella, and Sutan Bathoegana.
The visiting hour for this special day ended at 11 am. And from 1 pm to 3 pm the KPK will hold a Christmas service in its press conference room.
