TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Bank Indonesia (BI) predicated that year-end inflation can reach according to what was targeted.
Bank Indonesia Monetary Policy Executive Director Yudha Agung said that inflation could reach 3 percent (year to date) in December, while inflation in December 2014 reached 2.46 percent.
"This inflation is very much under control,” Yudha said on Saturday (21/11).
He also said that monthly inflation in November was estimated to stand at 0,13 percent.
Yudha added that if in December monthly inflation is at 0,5 percent, then targeted year to date inflation of three percent could be achieved.
He also said that by the end of this year, it would be relatively not difficult to predict inflation rate.
As for economic growth, Yudha noted that it would not be far from 4.7 to 4.8 percent in year end.
