TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Basuki "Ahok" Tjahaja Purnama mentioned that Go-Jek drivers will not be allowed to stop in Transjakarta bus stop. The ban will be imposed in relation to the release of the Go-Busway app.
Before the Go-Busway app was launched, Ahok said, many Go-Jek drivers often stop on at areas around busway shelter to wait for Transjakarta passengers.
In addition, passengers will have more convenience because they can immediately find Go-Jek drivers after they got off from the bus. "There are many benefits [of the app]," said Ahok.
Kevin Aluwi, Go-Jek brand director, guaranteed that Go-Jek drivers will not stop around Transjakarta shelters. However, Kevin admitted that many Go-Jek drivers stop on areas around Transjakarta shelters before the Go-Busway app was launched.
