41 Regions Take Part in Cultural Parade in Bandung

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - As many as 41 provinces, cities and regencies to take part in the 12th Kemilau Nusantara cultural parade in Bandung on October 25. The parade would march along one kilometer road from Gedung Sate up to Diponegoro street.

“The theme is ‘Pusparagam Nusantara’ (Diversity of a Country) that is full of freshness, festivity, cheerful and colorful mood,” said Head of West Java Tourism Agency, Nunung Sobari at his office on Friday, October 23.

The festival, which is part of West Java Province’s anniversary celebration will kick start at 08.00. Participants from each regions would perform on the main stage for jury assessment before hitting the road to march.

Total of Rp120 million money prize, which is funded by Tourism Ministry, awaits to be brought home by the winners of the competition.
