TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Betti Alisjahbana, spokesperson of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) leader selection committee (pansel), said that the committee has received 496 applications. Betti added that 217 out of the 496 applicants has completed the committee's administrative requirements.
Betti said that those who have not fulfilled their administrative requirements must be able to do so by July 3, 2015, at the latest. "After that, we will announce the names that pass the administration process," said Betti on Tuesday, June 30, 2015.
Betti said that on July 4, 2015, the committe will gaher inputs and requested the public to monitor the track records of KPK leader candidates. The process, according to Betti will lasts until August 3, 2015.
"[Monitoring is needed] so that we really know the track records and integrity of each candidate before continuing to the next selection stage," said Betti.
