Reported by Press TV today, in a letter to OIC secretary-general Iyad Ameen Madani, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif called for consultations to prevent Israel’s inhumane actions.
A meeting was also held by OIC executive committee on Thursday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where they condemned Israel’s crimes against Palestinian teen, Abu Khdeir, who was burned alive. The OIC then declared solidarity for the people of Palestine.
In the meeting, Hamidreza Dehqani, Iran’s permanent representative at the OIC, slammed Israel’s actions as “war crimes and crimes against humanity” and urged the UN Security Council, the UN Human Rights Council and the International Criminal Court to take immediate actions against Israel’s atrocities.
