TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Israel said that Hamas militants, the group who has control over Gaza, had abducted three Israeli teenagers last Thursday evening when they left school in Kfar Etzion.
"These teenagers were kidnapped and the kidnapping was carried out by Hamas members," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told reporters.
Israel warned of serious consequences for Palestine over this tragedy. Until yesterday, over 100 Palestinians have been captured by Israel security forces as part of the search.
The two 16-year-olds and a third man aged 19, seminary students in a Jewish settlement bloc, disappeared on Thursday. They were Eyal Yifrach, Gil-ad Sha'er, and Naftali Frankel, who is also a US citizen.
The incident enraged the public and causes fear for the Palestinians. Mainly because Israeli troops have been vigorously conducting searches in the houses of small villages spread throughout Palestine.
